client spotlight: Fed square

Fed Square is the gateway to the art precinct – and as Melbourne’s public square it is the civic, cultural and community heart of the city. It also home to three of Victoria’s major cultural institutions: ACMI – Australia’s Museum of Screen Culture, the Koorie Heritage Trust (KHT) and The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia. It is also home to leading hospitality and retail experiences as well as a central place for Melbourne to meet, gather, celebrate, commiserate, mourn and protest.

Since 2021, Kreate has been engaged by the Melbourne Arts Precinct Co (MapCo) who oversee Fed Square to deliver consumer and lifestyle public relations which includes media outreach and relations, influencer outreach and engagement, media partnerships and creative collaborations. Our expertise in Destination Marketing and Communications helps us devise and deliver strategies which attract footfall and visitation to Fed Square’s events, activations and tenancies.

Our work has included launching major art installations, celebrating arts and cultural festivals, telling stories about retail and hospitality tenancies and celebrating Fed Square’s 20th birthday in 2022! From Cyril Lancelin’s The Knot to Candlelight Concerts with artists such as Budjerah; from the Little Food Festival to the immersive SPARK by Studio Roosegarde - our team has brought to life fascinating stories and has loved sharing them with key media, Melbourne, Australia and the world!

In 2024, we continue to deliver lifestyle and consumer media strategy, communications and outreach for the team at Fed Square and always wait with anticipation for the next creative programming to come out!
