cult favourite belles hot chicken makes the move to bondi

Following the launch of Belles Hot Chicken’s spectacular new CBD flagship at Circular Quay earlier this year, Belles is heading beachside, with a new Belles diner and bar set to open at Bondi Beach this October.

Taking over the former Fonda Mexican space at 85 Hall Street, Bondi Beach, Belles will be shaking up the Bondi dining scene with their unmatched vibes, great drinks and infamous fried chicken.

Kreate were once again engaged to announce the beachside move to key media, with coverage secured in the Sydney Morning Herald’s Good Food and Concrete Playground, amongst others.

The new digs will be getting a full makeover, embracing its location and channeling American 1970s beachside diners. The fit out will once again see the Belles dream team come together. Design is being led by Belles Design Director Vicki Punch, in collaboration with Ana Calic and Josh McLean from Ewert Leaf and Nick Cox from Projects of Imagination.

“Comfort food, great booze and tunes just metres Australia’s most iconic beach –a match made in heaven” says Managing Director of Belles Hot Chicken, Joss-Jenner Leuthart. “After opening the doors to our CBD flagship at Circular Quay, we pounced at the opportunity to transform Fonda’s iconic location to our new home. Belles is a place to kick back, dig in, get messy or just chill – and Bondi Beach always felt like a natural fit.”
