YCK Laneways - social media and pr

Kreate launched YCK Laneways, Sydney’s newest nightlife Precinct in March 2021. A first in Sydney, YCK Laneways is a consortium of Sydney’s best small bars clustered around York, Clarence and Kent streets. 

We developed an in-depth PR and Social Media strategy to launch YCK Laneways, creating talkability and hype about the Precinct. This resulted in significant coverage across lifestyle, trade, hospitality, What’s On and consumer media as well as translating to high levels of bookings for the participating bars.

Our organic and paid social media strategy also resulted in significant growth in the social media audience for the YCK Laneways Instagram and Facebook accounts. 

Kreate also launched YCK Laneways Presents Live at Barrack St, a major one-off live music event to officially close the 6 week block party. 

Our activity through social media, PR and Communications with key industry partners, consumer and lifestyle media and other relevant bodies resulted in strong talkability and return on investment.
