Kreate has a long standing relationship with Melbourne Chef Mischa Tropp and in 2023, when Mischa put down permanent roots at his 20 seat Collingwood venue ‘Toddy Shop by Marthanden Hotel’ he trusted us to deliver his PR and Media strategy.

With a suite of high profile pop-ups in his repertoire, Mischa Tropp sought out permanent digs to serve his delicious South Indian-leaning cuisine and so in December 2023, Toddy Shop on Smith Street, Collingwood was born.

A beautiful fit-out reflecting the unique Toddy Shops of Kerala and India’s South houses 20 seats to serve walk-ins an innovative menu featuring some of Mischa’s most well-known dishes and a rotating range of specials.

Kreate developed and delivered a media and communications outreach strategy to launch the new venue to media and consumers and success to date has been incredible.

In addition to an exclusive feature in The Age’s Good Food, features and positive reviews have appeared across Broadsheet, Time Out, Urban List, Concrete PLayground, Delicious and Australian Gourmet Traveller. Kreate have also worked to deliver inclusions with Visit Victoria and Tourism Australia across their platforms.
