Hendrick's Gin and Glenfiddich Whisky - Winter Wonderland Domes at InterContinental Sydney Double Bay

The Context:
William Grant & Sons Australia partnered with Kreate to transform the InterContinental Sydney Double Bay rooftop into an immersive winter escape.

Following the success of the 2025 activation, the challenge was to elevate the experience for 2026, creating a premium seasonal venue takeover that would drive footfall, showcase Hendrick's Gin and Glenfiddich Whisky, and deliver an unforgettable dining experience.

The Objectives:

  • Create an immersive winter wonderland experience on the InterContinental rooftop

  • Drive footfall from both hotel guests and external diners

  • Showcase premium Hendrick's and Glenfiddich serves in an elevated dining environment

  • Deliver a repeatable seasonal activation model

  • Generate social content and PR moments that positioned the venue as a winter destination

Our Approach:

Kreate brought the Winter Wonderland to life through three domes, each designed to create intimate guest experiences with harbour views and enchanted forest theming.

From creative concepting through to full production, our team handled every element of the guest journey - from the moment hotel guests stepped into the custom-wrapped lifts, through to the luxe dome experience.

This included:

  • Creative direction and design of all three domes with elevated winter theming

  • Custom lift wraps featuring winter forest imagery and promotional messaging

  • Full end-to-end production and installation management

The Impact:

  • Six-month premium rooftop activation delivering consistent winter destination positioning

  • Multi-touchpoint guest activation driving hotel resident engagement and external bookings

  • Content-rich, shareable experience generating organic social amplification
