THE BLUES TRAIN - PR AND MEDIA RELATIONS
Kreate was engaged to deliver a targeted PR campaign to support the launch of The Blues Train’s 2025/2026 season.
Departing from Queenscliff, The Blues Train invites guests to step aboard a moving heritage train where live music unfolds across four carriages, each hosting a different blues-inspired act. The experience is designed to encourage dancing, connection and discovery, just 90 minutes from Melbourne.
The objective was to spotlight the new and enhanced service while broadening its appeal to a wider audience, including a younger demographic, and reinforcing The Blues Train as a must-do cultural experience in regional Victoria.
Kreate developed and executed a tailored PR approach, targeting a diverse mix of travel, lifestyle, music and arts & culture publications across print, digital and broadcast media. Highlights included front-page coverage in The Geelong Advertiser, inclusion in Channel 7’s Our Pick in Vic segment during the 6pm news bulletin, a hosted visit and social reel by Time Out Melbourne, and a feature in Secret Melbourne supported by highly engaged social media content.
